Exterior soft furnishing goes hand in hand with protection covers. One of the biggest benefits of our refit department is that we developed a unique digital technique to measure and store all dimensions and patterns in our digital archive. By storing these measurements into our digital archive we are able to replace your cushions if they are lost or need to be replaced without taking new measurements on board. Exactly the right size and without the need to repeat our measurements.
Fabric
We recommended to make the exterior
protection covers out of a Stamoid fabric.
This fabric is available in all sorts of
colors. The covers will be padded with
fleece when needed for example when placed
on varnish surfaces.
All seams are sealed off at the bottom for a
100% water free covering. This seam sealing
is only possible when a Stamoid base
material is used.
Production
Big covers are not a problem. The covers will be divided and in production foreseen with watertight zippers. This makes the covers easy to handle in installation, removing and storing.
Sea fastening
All covers will be fitted/fastened with
tracks and straps in agreement with the
captain and crew.
Storage bags with labels will be delivered
for all covers for correct and easy storage.
Coded covers
A position / placing schedule for cushions and covers will be supplied with delivery in case new crew and deckhands are on board. It’s always easy to have a general overview of all exterior items on board.
